The classic 1006 Navy chair was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy and has been in continuous production since then.
The Navy collection is a legendary example of Emeco’s famous unique 77-step process, in which recycled aluminum is hand-formed and welded by skilled American craftsmen, and then tempered for strength, three times stronger than steel and amazingly light weight.
Features a smooth curved back rest with three vertical bars, a unique concave curved seat shape and curved back legs.
The Navy stool’s classic anodized finish makes it a durable modern stool, has a life expectancy of at least 150 years, stools that span generations and cultures.
