This is a classic Knoll sofa / settee / loveseat, designed by Charles Pfister and upholstered in a beige wool fabric.
This sofa was manufactured circa 1980, and was reupholstered in the late 80’s. It was lightly used in an office setting for a number of years, and then was placed in storage. The sofa is in really nice condition, showing very little wear.
Celebrated interior designer Charles Pfister, whose personal design philosophy was “restrained elegance”, designed his perfectly proportioned lounge collection in 1971. The timeless appeal and superb craftsmanship reflect his interest in, “useful, sculptural, wonderfully constructed objects.”
