This is the original 111 Navy Chair in red, manufactured by Emeco.
The 111 Navy Chair resulted from a collaboration between Emeco and the Coca-Cola® Company to repurpose recycled soft drink bottles. Each chair is made from 111 bottles, hence the name.
The design of the 111 Navy Chair (2010) is inspired by the iconic 1006 Navy Chair, originally created for use on WWII submarines where durability was essential. A notable feature of the 111 Navy Chair is the leg stretchers, which are typically not found on plastic chairs and contribute to its exceptional sturdiness, making it ideal for frequent use.
This chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
